Surinder & Paul | Wedding reception | The Passenger Shed

In August we had the pleasure of providing our event services to the newlyweds, Surinder and Paul. Their traditional and civil wedding ceremony took place during the day and then their guests were invited to a grand wedding reception at The Passenger Shed in Bristol.
This historic venue oozes with character and tradition, whilst providing an open canvas for the most extravagant ideas.
The couple opted for the traditional yet elegant Indian wedding theme of red, gold and ivory. This timeless theme has made a comeback over recent years and The Passenger Shed was the Perfect setting.
On the day we dressed up the venue to seat 450 people, yes 450! As you can imagine, this was a bit of a handful. From the offset, there was no wedding planner on site. Where this may have presented a challenge for some, our Creative Director, Radhika ensured all suppliers were fully briefed and ready in time to receive the wedding guests. We were working alongside the venue team, staging, audio visual teams, Mobile DJs and others!
Remember – although you may think a wedding planner or coordinator is costly or they don’t add any value – they really do! They ensure all your suppliers know what they’re doing, make sure all elements of the big day are in place as well as a heap of other things too.
